Navigate to ifixit's Teardown page or another comparable website. On this page, find two devices that you would like to "virtually" dissect.

Dissection and Labeling:
Print the webpage as a PDF document. Using Adobe Acrobat, annotate the document by identifying the following parts.

Network Adapter/Internet connection
RAM
Power Supply
Input Device(s)
Output Device(s)
Hard Drive
CPU
Motherboard

Comparison:
Reflect on how the devices and how they compare. Did the inside of the device look like how you expected? Was it equally difficult to find all of the parts on both devices? What else struck you by completing this activity? What were some interesting details you learned from reading the dissection instructions?

Post:
1. Personal devices: A big personal device in today's society is smart phones which all have touch screens which is much different from traditional computers as they do not have touch screens and everything is done through a mouse or key board. Laptops have also been huge as people are able to work more comfortably as people no longer need a big PC and monitor but just can carry around their laptop with them.

2. Environment Impact: Phone batteries are made out of lithium which when not disposed properly can contaminate water and start fires. We can try and find a different type of material for phone batteries or make it more known to the public how and where to dispose of them so they do not contaminate anything.

This week I created a created a document identifying key items of two different devices. I then wrote a reflection comparing the two devices and how I went about finding the key items. I then did a discussion post about computer hardware specifically about personal devices and environmental impact.
